Good news, lululemon fans: lululemon has opened its first experiential store in Chicago. Located in Lincoln Park, the 20,000 square foot facility is a sight to behold.

This store transforms the typical retail environment with space for community gatherings, fitness classes, and a fully stocked restaurant with everything from vegan to keto to cheeseburgers.

The doors open today, July 11, at 944 W. North Avenue, where guests will be greeted with a two-level, wide open, flexible, space. Chicagoans will have the opportunity to connect with lululemon like never before by taking a yoga or HITT class, engaging in staff-led meditation, networking, workshops, and more.

Two sweat studios will offer six to 10 classes a day of yoga and HITT, but you’ll need to schedule early online. The first week of classes is already sold out! Participants can pay a drop-in fee of $25/class or purchase a multi-class pack to take advantage of discounted pricing.

Additionally, there is a lululemon-branded “Fuel Space,” offering fresh, seasonal food, smoothies, a full coffee bar, beer, and wine! Customers can place a food order, take a class, shower in the impeccably decorated locker room, and then pick up their smoothie to go. But with a cozy area to sit and chat, why would anyone ever want to leave this space?

Oh, did we forget to mention that nestled within all of this community goodness are the lululemon clothes that we all know and love. Comfort and style at its finest, women and men can feel the fabrics and learn about the construction of the clothing while they peruse the gear.

From running attire to travel coziness to an entire wall of bra’s, customers are spoiled with the amount of clothing choices available. Men and women each have a floor dedicated to outfitting looks that will work for fitness, professional, and fun. You are also able to “check out” clothing and take it for a test run at one of the fitness classes before purchasing!

The brand new lululemon experiential store is truly a sight to behold and a must see for all Chicago lululemon lovers. We will have more to come in an in-depth article where we learn about why Lincoln Park was the perfect location for lululemon and the philosophy behind the clothing. Watch for that article soon!
