Tuesday Reviews-Day: Lululemon Pace Perfect Bra

Ever since I got my Apple Watch in the fall, I’ve been all about enhancing my runs with technology and gear; because of its Bluetooth function, I got Bluetooth wireless headphones so I don’t have to worry about detangling chords while running, but using both of these products means I must run with my phone at all times.  While I usually do this anyways, using pockets in my running tights in the colder months and an arm band in the summer, Lululemon just released a solution to a running-gear geek’s problems.

Its Pace Perfect Bra has a pocket in the back to store your phone; so obvious yet so brilliant!

While I’ve been an armband user for many years, I started getting annoyed with it last year because my phone and keys would bounce around in it, and it would eventually slide down my arm from all the weight inside. This bra, however, holds everything in place from front to back, and also keeps your phone at easy access in case of an emergency.

The pocket itself is pretty big – I have an iPhone 6 and it fits perfectly with more room, so those with a plus-sized phone should be able to utilize it as well. It also has a double-flap closure to help hold it in place, so you really don’t even feel it on your back. For those with chorded headphones, you can thread them through the bonded eyelet and up to your ears, eliminating the annoying chords springing around in front or behind your body.

Because it’s a Lululemon product, it’s also extremely comfortable and flattering. When I first put it on, I felt like it was made for me specifically. In fact, this sports bra gives me more coverage than any of the other bras I own, and it is made of four-way stretch material, making sure it doesn’t shrink or smoosh anything.

I ran in this bra just once, but it was during one of my long runs, and I know this will become my go-to race sports bra because it really alleviates any technology problems or frustrations I’ve ever had. I can’t wait to try it again, and honestly, probably buy one in every color.

The Pace Perfect Bra comes in five colors and goes for $58.
