SoulCycle fans in Chicago have multiple opportunities to experience the brand’s unique indoor cycling offerings in the coming days, as the company celebrates the opening of its newest location in Lakeview and hosts several complimentary classes downtown through its partnership with Target.
SoulCycle Southport, located in a new-construction building at Southport and Newport immediately north of the Southport Brown Line stop, will celebrate its grand opening on Saturday, Jan. 30. The studio features 62 bikes and a SoulCycle lifestyle boutique in its second-floor location, along with a communal roof deck and shower-equipped locker rooms.
To celebrate its opening, SoulCycle Southport will host classes at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Saturday, along with a photo booth, snacks and other surprises. Classes cost $20 for those who have never taken a SoulCycle class, and $30 for those who have.
Target also recently launched a collaboration with SoulCycle, and its national tour will stop in Chicago Feb. 5-7. On each of those days, SoulCycle will offer six complimentary classes at Venue Six10 (610 S. Michigan), with classes taking place at 8 a.m., 9:30 a.m., 10:30 a.m., 12 p.m., 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sign-ups for classes open on Friday, Jan. 29 at 2 p.m. Central time.
In addition to complimentary classes, you can also browse a pop-up shop with a variety of health and wellness products, including exclusive Target x SoulCycle clothing. Items in the pop-up shop are available online as well.
