It’s never too early to plan your 2017 triathlon schedule – the Life Time Tri Series race schedule is out, and registration opened Nov. 1.

“Life Time proudly commits to providing premier triathlon experiences in iconic U.S. destinations that welcome athletes of all abilities,” the event website says. “Together with IRONMAN® to champion and grow the sport, we invite you to choose your distance in 2017 and “Commit to TRI.”

The triathlon season will kick off on April 2, with the Life Time Tri South Beach race, and the series consists of six other races through September. Locally, the 2017 Transamerica Chicago Triathlon is set to take place on Aug. 27.

Each event features an International distance course, which consists of a 1.5-kilometer swim, a 40-kilometer bike and a 10-kilometer run, but distances may vary slightly by location, according to the series’ website. Select events also offer Sprint, SuperSprint and Kids Triathlon courses of shorter, varying distances.

In addition to the races, the Life Time Tri Series provides free Starting Line 101 clinics, endurance coaching in Life Time clubs or online, and expert content “to get you to the starting line with confidence.”

To #CommitToTri in 2017, register on www.LifteTimeTri.com. More information will be posted on the events Twitter and Facebook accounts.
