What a perfect day for a race and this organization in Geneva passed with flying colors!
There were 294 finishers for the half, 101 for the 10K and 374 for the 5k. The courses were all out and back along the Fox River Trail. They were very well marked and all of the mile markers were spot on.
The half marathon started at 7:00 AM with the 5K and 10K starting at 7:30 so for the most part the half marathon runners did not get interfered with by the 10K and 5K runners. The starting line for all the races were in downtown Geneva right in front of the historical Kane County courthouse.
After the race they provided a unique medal, hot chocolate made from amazing chocolate.
