Need a holiday gift idea? Oiselle has the athletes in your life covered with an unbelievable release of winter weather running gear. Oiselle has always kept our Chicago runners looking good but this new line will keep you feeling good as well.

I had the opportunity to try out the running tights, sports bra, and windbreaker, and all I can say is…WOW! My first test for running tights is always the same…the saggy crotch test. I know how it sounds, but you all know what I’m talking about! No one wants to be midway through a long run yanking up running tights that are falling in the crotch. I’ve been there, done that, and do not want to return.

Check out Oiselle’s latest in running tights.

Bird Hug Reversible Tights

These tights. A smooth design with minimal seams. A convertible inseam – where you can simply fold the hem to desired length. An insanely soft, micro-peached knit (bird hug!). And a reversible design that can be worn both ways. Plus versatility: these tights seamlessly move from running to yoga to lounging.

– Bird Hug Fabric (polyester / spandex)
– reversible design
– large rear waist pocket fits an IPhone
– 25.5″ inseam (all sizes)

And, if those weren’t enough, Oiselle has created a rad windbreaker that keeps you cool enough to tackle the 50 degree weather that can pop up here and there.

Reflective Vim Jacket

Vim Jacket! Beloved from the beginning, it’s a staple in the line, embraced as a go-to lightweight shell, specifically designed for running and walking outdoors. Featuring our stay-safe reflective mesh, at chest, back, sleeves; plus a little brand magic – with a clipped logo on the rear. Other elements remain intact, including the premium windproof and water resistant fabric from Pertex™, adjustable hem and hood, full zip hand pockets, plus self-storage front pocket with elastic strap for easy carrying when the miles heat up!

– Polyamide
– breathable + water repellent
– wind proof to 60mph
– storable hood with rear collar button closure
– reflective strips at front chest, center back, sleeves
– oiselle logo on back
– hood and hem adjustability with barrel closure
– packable into own zip pocket with elastic hand strap
– half elastic cuffs
– hand pockets with zipper closure
– locking zippers (won’t bounce on the run!)
– lightweight (6oz)
– 24.5″ body length (size small)

And then last but not least, my third favorite piece of Oiselle running gear is their Flyout sports bra. I’m the queen of sports bra chaffage and so I’m always skeptical trying out a new sports bra. I gave this one the test of all tests…a humid day with mid-temps and layered clothing. I knew I would break a sweat in my 10 mile training run and wanted to see how this bra would act against my skin. I was incredibly impressed when I returned home to shower and didn’t yelp under the water due to under the bra chafing. I highly recommend this sports bra for your cold weather runs. It provide a high level of support without extra rubbing.

Flyout Zip Bra

The Flyout Bra has been a Oiselle best seller for years. But one of the requests we often get is for a zip front option, reducing the strain required to get bras on/off. Apparel should never be an obstacle. So we’re always looking for ways to offer solutions… in other words, when the athletes ask, we provide! The Flyout Zip Bra has the same fit, coverage and rear pocket of the Flyout, but with a convenient and comfortable zip front closure. The zip function is made easier by an internal hook and eye, for keeping the two halves together, as well as a placket to prevent the zipper from touching your skin on the inside. Wear testers have let us know they’re sure this will make the Flyout Bra proud – and quickly become a new best seller.

– Plya Interlock (polyester/spandex)
– Power Mesh lining
– center front zip closure
– removable cups
– mesh pocket at top of back fits phone
– compression level: 2
– constructed with Bluesign approved fabrics
