Nike’s 2019 Chicago Marathon Gear is Here

Nike has released their 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon gear and it is spectacular! If you have not yet seen it, check out the images in this article and I know you will agree.

The black, white, and blue color choices are eye-catching and vibrant. I have countless marathon sweatshirts in gray and was pleasantly surprised to see that Nike made a different choice for this year’s gear.

The font choices are bold and make it clear what race you are representing, which I absolutely love. Running the Chicago Marathon is no small feat and I am extremely proud to represent my city’s event. This gear completely does it justice.

Nike always does a good job of putting out multi-season options. The tank is appropriate for hot and humid running, with its proper ventilation, lightweight material and white coloration. The long-sleeved, insulated shirt, will be perfect for cold weather runs. It is a deep black and a warm material that will lock in heat.

I love that Nike puts out gear that can be used all year long. We have all trained for several months, maybe years, for the Chicago Marathon, and should be able to represent our achievements all year long. In the Midwest, that means we need to go from 100 degrees to a polar vortex!

My favorite piece of gear is the Chicago sports bra with the strappy back. It has full support and coverage, while looking cutting edge! Even on my long run, I experienced no chafing and found it to be supportive but not constricting.

Nike truly outdid themselves for 2019 with shoes, jackets, long-sleeved shirts, tanks, leggings, and a sports bra.
