Though December has had relatively mild weather up to this point, Nike Chicago still wants to encourage athletes to spend time outdoors this month. Nike’s Get Out Here Challenge Finals will take place in a specially designed box along Chicago’s Riverwalk at Wabash and Wacker, giving participants a unique perspective during a tough workout.
The Get Out Here Challenge Finals feature a variety of workouts, including NTC HIT, which features full body workouts alternating between high and low intensities, Train Chicago, which works on strength, speed and agility and running workouts. Nike trainers will lead all workouts.
NTC Hit and Train Chicago workouts have reached their capacity, but space still remains in the NRC Home Run on Wednesday at 6:36 p.m., the NRC Speed Run on Thursday at 6:36 p.m., the NRC Ready Set Go Run on Friday at 6:36 p.m., and the NRC Long Run on Saturday at 8:36 a.m. These runs feature varying distances and start and finish at the Get Out Here box, located at 35 E. Riverwalk. Space fills quickly, and those interested should register as soon as possible.
