Award-winning wellbeing studio exhale will open its second Illinois location on Jan. 15. The new studio, located at 1890 Maple Ave. in Evanston, will feature the brand’s various group fitness classes, including Core Fusion Barre, Barre + Cardio, Yoga and Extreme in its 1,200-square-foot classroom.
Exhale has multiple events planned to celebrate the Evanston location’s opening, including free preview classes through Jan. 14. The hour-long preview classes give participants the opportunity to try each of exhale’s four offerings with classes taking place between 6 a.m. and 5:15 p.m., depending on the day. In addition, exhale also currently offers the opportunity to buy an unlimited monthly membership for $125, compared to the usual $180/month price. You can find a full schedule of preview classes, including class descriptions, online.
After the first full day of regular classes on Jan. 15, exhale will host a grand opening party on Jan. 16 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. The party will include Core Fusion classes, including a class taught by Core Fusion co-founder Elisabeth Halfpapp, raffle items, chair massages by EGEA Spa, makeup touchups and consultations by Benefit Cosmetics and refreshments. At 11:30 a.m., exhale founder and CEO Annbeth Eschbach, Evanston mayor Elizabeth Tisdahl and Steven and Randy Fifield, owners of Fifield Cos., which developed E2, the building in which exhale is located, will participate in a ribbon cutting ceremony with a champagne toast.
