Equinox locations in the Chicago area will kick off 2016 with new options for group fitness fans.
Equinox in the Gold Coast, Loop, Lincoln Park and Highland Park will all add The Cut to their lineups. The Cut features a 45-minute boxing workout designed to build strength, speed and coordination. Participants can expect to work through weighted punching drills, fighting combinations and conditioning during the class. Class times vary by location, though the Loop location will offer The Cut at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesdays and 11 a.m. on Fridays. Members of Equinox in the Gold Coast will also have the opportunity to try out Fully Loaded beginning Jan. 1. This class works participants in various planes of motion using free weights, sandbags and ViPRs to avoid linear movement.
Classes are exclusive to Equinox members, though members may bring guests for an additional fee. Through the end of the year, Equinox will offer a discount on the club’s initiation fee for those interested in joining.
