The Chicago Women’s Elite Cycling team will host its second development clinic this Saturday in conjunction with the Spring Super Criterum in South Beloit. The clinic, scheduled from 12:15 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., will focus on bike handling and help riders of all levels improve their skills and confidence on the bike through drills. Men and women of any age can attend the clinic, which will have cyclists on their bikes in the pit lane at the Blackhawk Farms Raceway. Interested participants can register on-site up to 10 minutes before the clinic begins, and cyclists must wear helmets while on the bike.

The eighth annual Spring Super Criterium, hosted by Burnham Racing and SpiderMonkey Cycling at Blackhawk Farms Raceway (15538 Prairie Road, South Beloit), features racing for cyclists ranging from Junior 9-14 all the way up through Pro/1/2/3, with a 30-minute Cat 5 race kicking things off at 8:30 a.m.

Races take place all day and range in length from 30 minutes to 60 minutes, with field sizes between 75 and 100 participants.
