Popular race bib snap-on brand BibBoards is pleased to announce its first ever partnership with the Chicago Area Runners Association, Inc. (CARA). This is the first year the California-based product company will sponsor CARA, the largest running club in the Midwest and third largest in the nation.
For 40 years, CARA has devoted itself to supporting and celebrating the running community in the city of Chicago and surrounding area. The not-for-profit association has 5,000 members and over 55,000 program and event attendees annually.
“BibBoards are an innovative product that our members and local race directors will enjoy. When you race often, as our members do, being able to eliminate safety pins is a great idea. For race directors, BibBoards are a new and unique amenity that offers a custom branding opportunity on a item runners will love to hold onto,” say’s Greg Hipp, CARA’s Executive Director.
In support of CARA’s popular runner programming, BibBoards will supply CARA with its innovative BibBoards® race bib snap-ons, helping CARA race directors and membership learn how to join the growing movement to rid the world of unsafe safety pins, and #SavetheShirt.
“BibBoards® were invented in Chicago by a CARA runner, so we’re especially pleased to support Chicago runners,” said Brian Goodell, Co-Founder of BibBoards. “It’s also a privilege to help CARA support its education, training and advocacy mission.”
