    Growing up in rural Iowa, Lambertsen learned the meaning of hard work early in her life. That work ethic shines through in every issue of Chicago Athlete. Her career has taken her all over the country, from Nebraska to Colorado and finally to here in Chicago. As an athlete, Lambertsen enjoys swimming and cycling.

    Tracy Collings started running in fourth grade and has been involved in the sport ever since. These days, in addition to running, Tracy participates in triathlon, mountain biking, snowboarding — and keeping up with her two kids. (Pictured with her son, Jake.)

    The fastest member of the Chicago Athlete staff, Jonathan Cain is a former collegiate athlete, running both cross country and track at Hope College where he graduated in 2004. He currently volunteers as the assistant cross country and track coach at Elk Grove High School.
